Freshs flash

Friday, April 9th, 2004 (4 years, 7 months ago)

I was switching television channels and I came across the WB network. Whenever they run promos for new episodes of shows, they always refer to it as a “fresh” episode instead of a “new” episode (Example: “Four fresh episodes in a row”).

Am I the only one who thinks that sounds just a bit… stupid? And lame?

Maybe FOX will out-do them with, “Coming next week… A sexy, untouched, virgin episode! …Get it? Coming?”

Family Guy moment #2

Steven told me (and I’m reproducing it on my website without his consent because I’m just a bad-ass):

related to your post, deanza’s site lists “Art Exhibition Analysis” as “ART EXHIBITION ANALY” on the little register page

And that ends the most amusing part of De Anza college.

Dentists and patience

Tuesday, April 6th, 2004 (4 years, 7 months ago)

Going to the dentist is no fun… It totally screws up my entire day because I can’t eat. But I just cooked a huge slab of meat and some potato wedges so everyone who advises me not to eat can go fornicate themselves.

Spin City moment

Friday, April 2nd, 2004 (4 years, 7 months ago)

I found this award my little sister got that says in big text, “You are a Super Problem Solver”, but the geniuses that created the award used a text size that was too big. It caused the phrase to be broken up into two lines:

1: You are a Super Problem
2: Solver

It reminds me of this episode of Spin City, where the mayor is recording a commercial. He reads from the cue cards, “Do you hate New York? Drug dealers put me in Washington”. (He paused at the wrong place, it’s supposed to be, “Do you hate New York drug dealers? Put me in Washington”.)

A slightly related post: Family Guy moment
