They should call him so damn insane!

I was flipping through and reading some articles (I think it was The Week magazine, but I’m not sure) and I saw some advertisement that lists statistics such as number or Iraqi soldiers/civilians killer, number of American soldiers/civilians killed, etc. And number of weapons of mass destruction found: 0.
It seems like people are really searching for reasons to hate on President Bush… Not to say that I’m a big Bush supporter or anything, but if you don’t like this country and if it’s such a big, bad, Nazi-esque, bunch of trigger-happy jackasses, you’re free to leave and go somewhere else. The United States is not keeping you prisoner here… Although that does sound like some place that I’ve been reading about in the news.
I’ll admit that I haven’t been checking up on the news recently (although I’m starting to get back into the habit now), but when did people start to think that Saddam Hussein was such an innocent guy? Did he join the big brother program? Make a big charity contribution? Sponsor a walk-a-thon? People knew him as a bad-ass many years ago, but suddenly he’s Mr. I-didn’t-do-anything-wrong.
Believe it or not, Saddam Hussein is not like Harrison Ford in The Fugitive… The one armed man didn’t do jack shit. Maybe after every advertisement like the one I saw today, they should add the following: Ladies and gentlemen, you’ve just been brainwashed.
5 points for the person that tells me who says the quote that I used for this post’s headline.
