The spy spying spy

Sunday, June 29th, 2003 (5 years, 2 months ago)

Recently, a rap artist (Proof of D12) got into a fight at a hotel because a camera crew (paparazzi) was following (spying) him around. And he has to be dragged away by his bodyguards.

I could go off about how violence is not the answer, but if some asshole was following me around, I’d have to give him a piece of my mind. And speaking with actions is so much louder than speaking with words…

I think all rappers and actors (or any celebrity who hates being spied on) should put aside a couple thousand dollars each and start up their own magazine where they hire people to spy on the paparazzi and publish extensive background checks and juicy gossip about them.

The do not call twist

If you don’t like getting telemarketing calls, I’d recommend registering your number with the federal Do Not Call list.

I was reading their website though, and I noticed that calls from long-distance companies, airlines, bank and credit unions, business of insurance and telephone surveys are not covered by this law— meaning you will still receive those types of calls. Unfortunately, the bulk of telemarketing calls I receive fall into those categories.

That’s like only banning spam messages that advertise meat loaf ingredients. And I like meat loaf.

Crooked cooks

Thursday, June 26th, 2003 (5 years, 2 months ago)

The food poisoning is still bothering me, but hopefully I’ll rid my system of it soon. I probably haven’t been eating the types of food someone who’s ill should be consuming. And I’ve been out to restaurants more and more, but no additional food poisonings so far.

This is, however, the second time that I’ve gotten food poisoning. The cooks are out to get me.

Yeah, this was really just a transition for a new website I’m releasing… I’m trying to collect some stories about workers in the food industry tampering with people’s meals. If you have such stories (or know someone who does), visit howHungry.com and send them in!

Thanks in advance to anyone that does. And 65 Online Fame points per story you send in (if you let me know your name, of course). Remember, I’m keeping track of these points now!

Note: Don’t worry, the points are still worth nothing. I just keep track of them.

Thug life, bitch, fuck em all

I think I got food poisoning from Denny’s… So I’ve been kind of dead the past couple of days. Today, I’m going to probably just lie in bed all day and try to fight off this sickness. That’s right: When I’m not out fighting thugs in the streets, I resort to fighting illness in my bed. Can’t keep me down, sucka.

A bug’s death

Our kitchen was invaded by ants the other day and I’m pretty sure it could’ve been avoided had my dad taken my advice a few days ago. There were a huge amount of ants crawling around outside and I asked where the ant-killer spray was, but he said to leave them alone.

It’s just like that scene in Saving Private Ryan, where they let the Russian guy go and he comes back later with a knife and goes stab-happy (except I wasn’t waiting in the other room, crying my eyes out). Learn from the movies: always destroy when you have the chance.
